The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer to support the design and build out of AWS GovCloud based Engineering Environments and Software Factories. Product Security Engineering is supporting the Boeing Enterprise DevSecOps transformation across our business units by securing software engineering environments and factories, supporting the transition from on premise infrastructure to the cloud, and defining security practices and policies to integrate with development and operations of products and services. For more information, click here. Position Responsibilities: Support the security authorization of projects. Develop security services, architecture, supporting elements, best practices, and governance for cloud tenants. Evaluate solutions and architectures for security impacts. Support Threat Modelling and Security Risk Assessments to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks. This position allows telecommuting. (Hybrid) The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final US Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry or other technical degree At least 3 years of experience with AWS Experience with cloud service architecture and security Experience with Information Systems Architecture Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): AWS Certification Security Experience such as RMF or DFARS Compliance (NIST SP800-171) Knowledge or experience with DevSecOps Concepts Security Information Event Management (SIEM) experience Experience with Kubernetes and Containers Possess CISSP or CCSP Certification Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
