We are currently looking for an experienced Manager, QA Engineering to manage a staff of QA software engineers across all our platform products. A Manager, QA Engineering at Arc provides technical and career guidance to their QA engineers, partners with Product Management and Engineering Leads to ensure quality processes and owns the technical validation of products built on AWS.

Responsibilities
- Manage a global team of QA software engineers that design, implement, instrument and support testing processes both manual and automation.
- Coach team members on a regular basis, setting goals, providing continuous feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Manage recruiting and hiring for the Arc QA team.
- Responsible implementing a technical strategy around testing that ensures future success of Arc products and teams.
- Contribute to design and architecture of integrating test automation into each Product's CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Product and Engineering leads understanding what their respective teams quality needs are and formulating strategies collaboratively.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 8+ years experience manual testing customer facing applications.
- 2+ years experience managing QA engineers.
- Experience architecting and implementing automated testing in Cloud based applications.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior and senior engineers.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks.
- Strong fluid written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience testing api endpoints using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with Javascript based automation: Cypress, Jest.
- Experience working with devops teams that own the full engineering lifecycle.
- Experience with multiple database and event processing systems.
- Experience analyzing application and cloud environment performance.
- Experience working in a global business with team members and customers in multiple time zones.
