Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions through advertisements, Placement services.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources Functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Administers and keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance, 401K, vacation, Sick leave, and leave of absence.
- Work with finance for the preparation of employee payroll
- Maintain employee handbook - develop new handbook in 2022 - 2023.
- Responds to employee's suggestions and grievances.
- Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Coordinates the participation of various training programs and conference for all employees.
- Liaison between subsidiary (API) for all human resources matters including, but not limited to benefit administration, maintaining of personnel files.
- AGS Flyer committee Member -currently on hold.
- Administer all commercial insurance (Workers, comp, auto insurance, cargo insurance, property insurance, etc.)
- Provide executive support to senior Vice President - Corporate Services.
- Supervise office and guesthouse cleaning services.
- Maintain all files for company automobiles: Work with finance for credit applications, Tag registration, Insurance, EZ Pass, Oversee Verizon Wireless cell company accounts.
Experience and Education:
- Associates degree in Human Resources or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3-5 years human resources management experience
