Job Summary/Company: Our client, a strategic and financial advisory firm, is looking for a Director of Operations to provide organizational leadership and support a range of activities to grow and maintain business processes. Qualified candidates will posses a high level of interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team of senior executives under little direct supervision in a highly entrepreneurial setting. This person should demonstrate strong analytical skills, personal initiative, and an ability to prioritize multiple assignments while producing consistent, high-quality work product.

This position will be fully remote. Due to the needs of the organization, residency within the Eastern Standard Timezone (EST) is required.

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of business operations including but not limited to: accounting, compliance, finance, vendor management, etc.
  • Managing correspondence and communications with clients, partners and financing institutions
  • Conducting prospective client, investor and market research as well as transaction due diligence
  • Initiating and supporting client pitches and business development efforts
  • Assisting with drafting and reviewing proposals, engagement letters, and related documentation
  • Developing presentations and offering materials for financial advisory engagements
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics or similar required; MBA or equivalent degree or training highly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years post-undergrad experience in finance, M&A, consulting, management or similar industry
  • FINRA SIE Series 7, 63, 79 licenses required (or, the ability to gain these licenses)
  • Strong proficiency and presentation skills using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Intacct,, Nexonia, Box and G-Suite
  • Entrepreneurial and leadership experience, ambition to help build the business
  • International work or life experience preferred but not required
  • Team player, intellectually curious, resourceful and adept at problem solving
