We are currently hiring for a SEO Strategist: REMOTE as we look to expand our team and support our growing roster of local and national clients.Who We're Looking For: SEO Strategist - REMOTESEO Strategists produce and edit on and offsite copy for C-4 Analytics' clients and conduct SEO research and analysis that help improve our core offerings. SEO Strategists receive an assigned portfolio of clients for whom they write copy and conduct SEO research. Additionally, SEO Strategists devise, implement, and test SEO strategies, present campaigns and results to clients, and help monitor the ever-shifting automotive SEO landscape.SEO Strategists have an advanced understanding of SEO best practices and an ability to demonstrate the value of SEO to our clients. They are expert communicators who are comfortable analyzing and reporting on results, operating in ambiguity, and skilled at interacting directly with our clients and our agency leaders in a clear, professional manner. Additionally, SEO Strategists must be skilled at working under consistent deadline pressure, must be able to produce clean copy in accordance with AP Style and must be able to produce compelling, original material with minimal supervision. Ideally, SEO Strategists will have experience in local SEO and managing Google Business Profiles.A day in the life of a SEO Strategist: REMOTEDeploying our SEO strategies and best practices to create effective campaigns for clients within and outside of their assigned portfolios.Conducting in-depth research and A/B testing on campaign performance through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, and other platforms in order to improve best practices and troubleshoot campaign performance issues.Presenting SEO strategies, campaigns and industry changes to internal and external stakeholders, including clients.Devising new SEO campaigns and strategies that leverage automotive business trends and emerging best practices.Training agency personnel on new SEO strategies, best practices, and other pertinent information and processes.Responding to client inquiries regarding local SEO and Google Business Profiles.Creating SEO-focused marketing materials and client-facing collateral including case studies, white papers, presentation decks and more.Managing a constant stream of shifting daily, weekly and monthly deadlines to effectively produce onsite, social and offsite content for a specific list of clients.Editing the work of other members of the content team according to AP Style, and imbuing all relevant copy with SEO best practices.Overseeing Phase I site audits and rewrites for new clients, as well as complete strategic SEO work for existing clients.Creating content for organic social media posts and assisting with overall team content production.Performing other duties as assigned.SEO Strategist Job Requirements:At least 2 years of experience developing and reporting on SEO campaigns and strategies for clients. Demonstrated history of/comfort with presenting to clients and key stakeholders.Demonstrated experience using common SEO industry tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Familiarity with Moz preferred.Professional experience/specialization in technical SEO or local SEO greatly valued, though not required.Two-plus years of experience producing engaging, clean copy, preferably in accordance with AP Style. Must have experience in self-editing and peer-editing environment.Demonstrated history of producing work in a deadline-driven environment displaying strong time-management skills. Must be comfortable delegating work, establishing boundaries and managing up.Portfolio should include creative marketing copy in many different styles. Samples including email marketing, website content and social media posts preferred. Must be a clear, concise communicator willing to ask questions and flag potential workflow issues.Ability to write professional emails and handle professional phone calls to clients and coworkers. Must possess the ability to use all Google products (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar).
