Duties

As a Creative Director, you will:
  • Direct and manage overall daily operations and administration, which includes all phases for assigned brand management; and develop and maintain related policies and procedures.
  • Plan, develop, implement and coordinate program management requirements.
  • Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work

  • Qualifications

    You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement.

    For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
    -Managing the development and execution of graphics projects to achieve corporate objectives; AND
    -Managing organizations corporate brand identity and visual identity and branding standards; AND
    -Providing technical supervision and guidance for creative materials for internal, general public, and customers; AND
    -Supervising a wide variety of creative projects for promotional and marketing materials, annual reports, and printing projects.

    In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
    For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    • All employees are required to wear face masks while on MINT property.
    • To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees.       Due to COVID-19, the agency is currently in an expanded telework posture. If selected, you may be expected to temporarily telework (if the position is applicable for telework), even if your home is located outside the local commuting area. Once employees are permitted to return to the office, you will be expected to report to the duty station listed on this announcement within 30 days. At that time, you may be eligible to request to continue to telework one or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the Mint's telework policy.
    • A one year probationary period may be required.
    • A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
    • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
    • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
    • Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
    • If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
    • Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9 . Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.

    • Undergo an income tax verification
    • May be required to wear safety clothing and/or equipment required by the position. This may include safety shoes, hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, masks, etc.
