Duties

  • You will serve as a Program Analyst in the ERP Business Systems Division of the Naval Research Laboratory.
  • You will be responsible for disseminating appropriate information to end user communities, the Navy ERP Program Office, Command Business Officers, and other stakeholder groups.
  • You will resolve highly complex critical system-related issues for the financial procurement functionality of NRL's utilization of Navy ERP.
  • You will advise code 3100 management on evolving Navy ERP financial and procurement module functionality and its impact to NRL.
  • You will be an expert in business systems, for example, IMPS legacy business system or Navy ERP system.
  • You will triage and resolve unusual financial and procurement trouble tickets in concert with other analysts.
  • You will contribute to the Release Management responsibilities for the financial procurement modules.
  • You will be representing NRL for financial and procurement module-related enterprise configuration decisions, and creating and executing test and validation plans.
  • You will assist the NRL FIAR team in audit readiness as assigned.
  • You will demonstrate experience with resolving complex problems with system functionality using a Federal Systems Applications Products (SAP) system or enterprise resource planning (ERP) business system.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (NO-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: (1) Resolving highly complex and critical system-related issues for the financial and procurement functionality; (2) Providing exceptional oral and written communication skills to ensure positive customer service experience while representing command interests throughout the Navy ERP communities at varying levels; (3) Assisting with: writing release notes, contributing to functional design requirements, evaluating system defect, representing NRL for financial and procurement module-related enterprise configuration decisions, and creating and executing test and validation plans; and (4) Providing exceptional customer service and assuring that relationships with external partners are build.
