The purpose of the Sr. Financial Analyst position is to conduct necessary financial analysis and modeling to support the negotiations, ratification, and administration of Collective Bargaining Agreements. The position maintains an understanding of trends and notable industry bargaining agreements and actions to support the company's Labor Relations efforts.Essential Functions:Develops and maintains financial modeling tools to evaluate the cost and benefit ramifications of various Labor Relations actions.Provides financial analysis for grievance meetings, arbitrations, collective bargaining, mediations, or other administrative proceedings and labor agreements.Administers Labor Relations' Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Sign-off Protocol for financials.Assists during negotiations and contract administration meetings.Conducts research and analysis of past actions taken in collective bargaining, mediation, and arbitration agreements.Analyzes and communicates notable labor market trends, applicable grievance filings, arbitration awards, mediation results, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) decisions, and CBA negotiations.Conducts financial post audit modeling for collective bargaining. Performs variance analysis on prior labor agreements, document, summarize, and present results.Responds to data requests from NLRB, Unions, Business Partners, and others.Develops, administers, maintains, and monitors various databases utilized by Labor Relations for collective bargaining agreements, grievances, financials, and employee information. Generates regular activity reports to analyze trends and compliance.Reporting relationship and other important informationThe Sr. Financial Analyst - Labor Relations position as described falls under the Fair Labor Standards act as an Exempt position, under the Administrative Exemption.The position typically reports to the Senior Director Labor Relations -FinanceMinimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: Requires demonstrated success conducting financial analysis and modelingRequires financial analysis training and skills generally demonstrated through the successful completion of a Bachelors' degree in Finance or equivalentRequires 4-6 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated success conducting advanced financial analysis, reporting, and modeling of confidential and sensitive data using Microsoft Excel, PeopleSoft Query, and nVisionRequires demonstrated strong communication skillsDemonstrated familiarity with collective bargaining agreements preferredHMSHost requires all new employees as a condition of employment to present proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when they start work.
