Come Join Our Team!NCB is seeking a Network Security Administrator, to join our Information Technology Team, in the Arlington, VA office.This position will work closely with NCB's Information Security team to design, deploy, support, and administer NCB's technical controls ensuring NCB's risk appetite is acceptable throughout the organization.The Information Technology Network Security Administrator will support the development and definition of security requirements, security risk assessments, system analysis, system designs, security test and evaluations, certification and accreditation, system hardening, vulnerability management, incident response management, corrective action management, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.As an integral member of NCB's IT team, the Information Technology Network Security Administrator will work with the Information Security team on all activities necessary to ensure the safety of NCB's information system assets while protecting the systems from unauthorized access across the organization.Assist the development, implementation, and administration of NCB's security controls. 40%Provide tier 2 and 3 security technical support. 35%Assist the Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Technology Officer. 15%Assist with NCB audits and penetration test. 10%Operational Responsibilities Monitor the day-to-day activities of threat and vulnerability management, identify risk tolerances, recommend treatment plans, and communicate information about risk management and mitigation.Manage security related production issues, incidents, and participate in the IT change management board.Lead coordination with third party auditors and penetration testers.Coordinate responses to third party security evaluations and audits.Contribute as a Subject Mater Expert.Oversee overall security of the Banks's network, systems, and data.Oversee and improve all IT Security-related controls, including managing all IT security policies, standards, procedures, and baselines.Work independently to resolve reported issues.Strategy & PlanningWork with the IT leadership team to ensure that security requirements are properly incorporated into new IT solutions and design changes to existing systems.Provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects, as needed.Research, and recommend new or updated information security solutions, analyzing impacts to the existing environment.Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support and enforce defined security policies.Provide technical and managerial expertise for the administration of security tools.Propose changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure operating efficiency and regulatory compliance.Develop and implement new security controls, standards, and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Include:College diploma or university degree in the field of Information Technology or 2-5 years equivalent work experienceCurrently holding or the ability to obtain Security+ or CEH.Knowledgeable with network access control solutions (ForeScout)Knowledgeable with various security applications (AppRiver, Varonis, RSA, Active Directory, Privileged Access management)Knowledgeable with MSSP/SIEM integration (Splunk Cloud)Knowledgeable with McAfee security suite (ePolicy, Encryption, DLP, web filtering, etc.)Patching and vulnerability management (KACE, Nessus/tenable security center)Ability to communicate technical solutions to project management, development team, operations team, information security team and IT solutions team.Well-rounded knowledge of networking (ex. Windows, LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, cloud services)Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
