Here, you will help lead our industry forward and make your career.Job DescriptionAs a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to supporting the team in applying mathematical models, advanced tools or techniques (such as SAS, Python, and R), and financial industry knowledge to business or financial data, including model results. Your efforts will enable the team to analyze or report on business performance, solve business questions, or inform business decisions. Work may include developing models or prototypes to achieve these goals but is not the core focus in the role.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE ResponsibilitiesThe Financial Engineer - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilitiesCollaborate on processing or analyzing large amounts of data efficiently using advanced financial engineering tools and techniques. Determine customer's intended uses for a financial analysis or model and provide actionable insights to influence business decisions and outcomes. Conduct financial analysis or forecasting, which may include scenario or sensitivity analysis, stress testing, or attribution analysis. Execute models and/or interpret model results. Translate the results from the analysis or models for the customer into understandable conclusions. Work directly with model builders to vet new models, suggest changes to existing models, or analyze model performance data. Perform data and systems analysis, validation, and regression testing. QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMRequired ExperiencesFor Associate Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Desired Experiences, Skills, And ToolsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsPrior experience working with financial and data modelsExperience analyzing large datasets to identify insightful trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data Experience with SAS, Python, R, SQL or other similar language in an analytics role is required; knowledge of multiple languages preferredAbility to analyze business trends and effectively communicate results to various internal stakeholdersStrong oral and written communicator, with ability to summarize complex issues and situations concisely and clearlyStrong interest in finance and financial modelingAdditional InformationReq ID: REF6173EThe future is what you make it to be.
