About The RoleAs the Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for putting the MARKET into the go-to-market. This means creating unique positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation that sets Brivo apart in a crowded and growing market. You will sit in a critical spot between product management, sales and marketing and owns the responsibility for telling compelling market-driven stories about what we do and how it solves customers, and channel partners, problems. You will be responsible for getting Brivo into more opportunities and positioned to close more business. This role is not only a hands-on position but also a strategic contributor providing insights and recommendations at the product, market and competitive level.What will you be doing as a Brivo Product Marketing Manager?A little bit of everything from managing product launches, creating messaging, tracking competitors and market trends, developing content, and nailing sales enablement. The compelling thing about being a Product Marketing Manager is that every day is different. In this role, you will touch almost every part of the business. Responsibilities will include:Evangelizing Product and Services:Build product and portfolio messaging that communicates the vision and value of our products that set new products apartCraft compelling messages and content for marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns, website) to promote our products, services and brandCreate content such as case studies, videos, datasheets, website copy and blog posts and work with various teams (design, content, demand gen, product, sales) Bring Product and Services to MarketUnderstand routes to market (direct, indirect, 3rd party ecosystem) and develop product messaging strategy and go to market plans that adapt to all potential revenue streamsPlan and execute the launch of new services and products and brief internal and external teams about new products (sales, marketing, PR, etc.)Create buyer personas based on target decision-makers and influencersManage timelines for new products with product management, engineering or manufacturing departmentsSpeak and present about products to both external and internal audiencesEvaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customersKnow Your Customer, Competition and the MarketFollow and analyze market trends to position products and develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching) for the businessConduct market research to stay top of industry, competitors and channel partners and share insights with internal teams and develop recommendations on changes to strategic direction based on insightsResearch competitor offerings and develop competitive messaging for sales, marketing and product teamsQualifications:Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Managers, Brand Manager or similar roleMust be an excellent writer for multiple channels and applicationsBackground in design and copywriting is a plusExperience in market analysis and competitive researchFamiliar with product marketing tactics (eg integrated marketing campaigns)Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)Excellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and creativeAnalytical mind and strong quantitative skillsBS/BA in Marketing, Communications or similar fieldAbout UsBrivo is the global leader in mobile, cloud-based access control for commercial real estate, multifamily residential, and large distributed enterprises.
