Here, you will help lead our industry forward, enhance your technical expertise, and make your career.Job DescriptionAs a valued colleague on our team, you will act as the team lead in designing and developing advanced solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications, as well as coach and mentor team members.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEResponsibilitiesThe Lead Network Engineer - Cloud & Automation role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilitiesApply your advanced skills and knowledge to develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms and account for interrelated functionality and processes when developing designs.Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions and lead the team in addressing identified issues.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences4 years of relevant professional work experienceSolid experience with network routing and switching (Cisco platforms)Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure or GCPAutomation experience with (Python, Ansible or Terraform)Desired ExperiencesBachelor degree or equivalentAt least 2 years of cloud networking experience with AWS (preferred), Azure or GCPAdditional InformationIn response to COVID-19, Fannie Mae has adapted our workplace and hiring processes to better safeguard our employees, candidates, and new hires.
