Our world-class consultants unite people to work collaboratively to achieve project goals and make your vision a reality.Project SummaryAs part of the FDA mission, the Office of Information Management and Technology (OIMT) Division of Application Services (DAS) Enterprise Application Branch (EAB) team manages and supports a number of enterprise and shared applications essential to the FDA in completing its mission to serve America's health and safety. DRT provides IT Program and Project Management support for three EAB Programs: FDA Electronic Submissions Gateway (ESG), FDA Unified Registration and Listing System (FURLS), and Acquisition Lifecycle Program (ALP).Position SummaryThe ALP Program Management Support role provides ALP Program and Project Managers (PMs) daily support in executing their projects with PM support duties such as status reporting, risk/issue management, meeting coordination and documentation, Enterprise Performance Life-cycle (EPLC) governance activities and documentation, Security compliance tasks, and executive leadership presentations. ALP PM Support also works closely with the OAGS business stakeholders. Deep technical expertise is not required, but an understanding of the IT project life cycle and the ability to work closely with the technical PMs to ensure they are delivering successful projects is necessary. This position is the primary contact and workstream lead for ALP on the EAB PM Support task order and may assist the task order lead with additional management activities.ResponsibilitiesLead the ALP workstream activities and manage scope, staffing, risks/issues, and status reportingSupport the task order lead with coordinating monthly status reports and internal DRT task order activitiesLead and mentor junior DRT team members across the EAB PM Support team Schedule and facilitate meetings with the ALP integrated project team, stakeholders, and other participants; prepare agendas; and take meeting minutes including discussion points and action itemsIdentify, document, and track project risks, issues, and action items Ensure EPLC requirements and documentation are delivered timely and update and/or create EPLC documentation if neededFacilitate client-facing workshops, training sessions, meetings, briefings, demonstrations and presentations Collaborate with ALP PM and business stakeholders to prepare executive presentations and Program Governance Board updatesCollaborate and support ALP PM and technical team with the ATO process, security audits and meetingsTrack and coordinate data call responsesPerform quality reviews on project and EAB PM Support task order deliverables Provide ALP ad-hoc project management support as needed Required ExperienceStrong leadership qualities and skillsStrong professional writing skills to create documentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Experience delivering quality requirements documents and presentations Experience managing small projectsAbility to multitask and handle issues of various complexity Ability to work independently with self-starter initiativeAbility to collaborate with team members and work together on team projects Experience conducting client facing demos, trainings and presentations Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Visio, Excel and SharePoint Self-starter and a team player who can come up to speed and adapt quickly with minimal supervision High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and patience working with many key stakeholders across FDA Ability to learn new tools, technology, and processesMust have or be able to obtain a Public TrustMinimum 7 years relevant professional experiencePreferred ExperienceExperience with EPLC processes and activitiesExperience with JIRAFDA Center or Enterprise services experienceEducation and Training BS or BA in Computer Science or related fieldProfessional certification, PMP certification preferredDRT Strategies, Inc.
