Perfecta is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to join our growing team. The PM will support the end-to-end execution of IT programs on behalf of our Government clients. The Project Manager should have at least 5 years' experience involving information technology and related systems supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and other agencies. An ideal candidate will be responsible for all relevant program(s) oversight, resource management, risk management, service delivery, customer relationship management, program expansion, service operations, and incident management.Duties and Responsibilities: Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation; ensure solutions are consistent with customer and organizational objectivesDevelop, update, and maintain the program plan to ensure timely delivery services and adequate resource allocationManage profit and loss, budgets and forecast through financial controls as well as establish and implement metrics and key performance indicators to manage various projects and report results to senior management and the customerEffectively communicate and keep Perfecta management and client stakeholders aware of project status, budget utilization, issues, risks, and successes. Escalate critical items appropriatelyIdentify critical success factors at onset and throughout program lifecycle and ensure removal of barriers to successCommunicate the project's business benefits to project teams and the client stakeholders to create a unifying sense of direction and purpose.Identify and champion opportunities to expand the business benefits of the program beyond current scope by developing business cases that qualify and quantify the anticipated return on additional client investmentCollaborate with Sales & Marketing and PMO team leadership on relevant white paper, RFI, and RFP responses as neededEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Operations Management, Intelligence Studies, or related field of study are preferred but not requiredComparable military experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degreeDesired Certifications: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), ITIL v.3 Foundations (Intermediate or Advanced)Experience:At least 5 years' experience as a project or program manager for IT programs, including experience managing both IT network operations & maintenance and IT projects/new technology insertions.Ideal candidates will have experience across the IT program life cycle, from design to development, implementation, and sustainment with multi-application/system environmentsAt least 2 years of experience interfacing with government or private sector clients at the senior management level, and have experience managing client expectations & relationshipsDemonstrated ability to develop clear and concise documentation, briefings, and present findings and recommendations to internal and external decision makersDemonstrate proven track record to identify potential operational and process risks and formulate/implement effective mitigation plansExperience implementing different aspects of the ITIL Lifecycle and ITSMPast experience developing and maintaining Program Management Plan, Monthly Progress Report (MPR), Subcontractor Expenditures Plan, Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), System Sustainment PlanExperience in supporting systems with or overseeing the use of COTS products in both Infrastructure and Application Development environmentsWell-versed in DOD and other governmental policies relevant to the development and deployment of capabilitiesTechnical experience with Linux/UnixTechnical knowledge of network systems and documentation.Technical experience with Windows applications such as Office 365, Teams, Azure ADEnthusiastic, proactive, positive attitude with great listening skills and high integrityExcellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage programs supporting multiple clientsAbility to think and act strategically and proactivelyStrong desire to mentor/coach team members while providing oversight for all aspects of relevant Program(s)Able to work under pressure (at times) and to be flexible under shifting prioritiesExcellent verbal and written skills, ability to present proposals and performance data, comfortable interfacing all levels of organizationAdditional Requirements:Willing to travel occasionally as needed (up to 25%)Maintain flexibility in working extended hours on certain occasionsPlease note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Perfecta is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
