Job PurposeThe CellPort Cell Culture Suite is a state-of-the-art low code Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform created specifically for cell culture and its upstream and downstream data and workflows.A' Spanning research, GLP, and GMP settings, the CellPort platform combines the end-to-end laboratory inventory and process management of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) with the highly repeatable QC and manufacturing focus of a Laboratory Execution System (LES).CellPort Software is a fast paced, high-energy company located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is seeking a candidate to join the Sales team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the candidate will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales while ensuring an effective and smooth sales process.A' A' Primary ResponsibilitiesAchieve sales and activity goalsCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to optimize company sales effortsManage the sales pipeline and subscription renewal processCommunicate the software's capabilities in the context of customer needsInteract directly with prospects to address any technical questions and represent the technical expertise of the company's development teamsPrepare quotations for prospective clientsManage technical sales related tasks as needed, such as developing sales support documents and giving software demonstrationsAttend industry conferences and eventsQualifications5-7 years of proven success in software sales or consulting experience in application software, ELN, LIMS, MES, ERP, or related Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enterprise systemsBiological, Chemical, Engineering, IT, Business, or related industry degreeA' Cloud software and/or IT technical sales experience highly desiredExperience using a CRM system required ( preferred)Knowledge of the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries requiredA' Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skillsTravel (up to 30%, when the pandemic eases)Local candidates preferred.BenefitsCellPort Software cares about our work community and offers a variety of benefits allowing employees the opportunity to customize a benefits package that meets their personal needs.A' CellPort Software is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
