LHH is exclusively recruiting for a Tax Director in Arlington, VA.Our client is looking for a Tax Director who is open to commuting three days per week in-office in Arlington, VA. A major international company is looking to add a new head of tax to their department and will oversee a tax team of six with three direct reports. In this role, you will be able to enact change and streamline processes as the company continues to grow. This role primarily focuses on US taxes, though prior international tax or transfer pricing experience may be helpful.As Tax Director, you will be responsible for:A' . Lead the tax department with strong leadership and coaching skillsA' . Manage all aspects of franchise, state and federal income, property, sales & use taxA' . Liaise with internal and external auditors in matters of taxationA' . Implement new strategies wherever necessary, keeping up to date on tax legislation and measuresAs Tax Director, an ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:A' . Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related fieldA' . CPA strongly preferredA' . 6+ years of broad tax experience in either public accounting or corporate taxA' . At least 4 years of supervisory experienceA' . Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalSalary: $195K-$215K DOEHours: Monday to Friday, 40-50 hours a week.
