As a UX Writer you'll join our agile environment and work within a highly collaborative, cross functional team by helping write, build, and produce content that forms a key part of all our product experiences!Primary responsibilitiesDevelop a keen understanding, and advocate for the needs of our customers in partnership with product, engineering, research, content and design.Partner closely with researchers, product managers, engineers, and designers to understand requirements and build out compelling copy.Collaborate with writers and guardians of copy beyond the product team, encouraging an understanding that crosses all channels.Translate complicated concepts into clear in-product copy (including UI, notifications, errors, and more)Help to build the overall voice and tone strategy for the team, using company and brand standards.Help to develop our detailed approach to copy and content, crafting consistency, harmony and predictability across all our customer touchpoints.Build and contribute to libraries and guidelines that reduce friction and decision making while helping to build a consensus viewpoint.Take sophisticated concepts and translate them into easy-to-digest, human readable language.Passion and focus for every element of the user journey, from warnings to success, onboarding to logging off.Actively engage in the design process, participating in ideation sessions and workshops.Continually express and evangelize the value of copy and content as a pivotal part of the user journey and customer experience.Required skills1-2 years of experience with UX writing or writing for interactive experiences.Skilled with the required tools including Microsoft Office and Confluence. Experience with design tools such as Sketch or Figma a plus.Outstanding communicator who can encourage and influence.Ability to develop a well-informed point of view while maintaining flexibility to changing requirements.Ability to work cross-functionality with multiple partners, balancing changing priorities.Extensive attention to detail.Fast learner of new businesses and emerging technologiesPrevious work samples or portfolio required.
