Manager, Marketing Automation - Brand

The Capital One Brand team is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to support our software line of business. In this role you'll help us launch and scale a new B2B software business by designing and implementing new marketing processes, measuring marketing performance, and maintaining overall system functionality for our martech stack. This includes managing the day-to-day operations of Marketo, our marketing automation platform, and future marketing tools.

The successful candidate for this role will work closely with the rest of the software marketing team to drive efficient and accurate campaign execution. This role will also partner with the Capital One Software Operations, Business Development, and Customer Success teams, the Enterprise Email Governance team, and others to ensure platforms and campaigns remain effective and compliant.

What you'll do
  • Manage day-to-day operations of key marketing systems (Marketo, connections to Salesforce, etc.) used to generate, nurture, route, and report on leads
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to create and deliver highly targeted marketing campaigns, emails, retention/reactivation programs, and customer success communications
  • Manage end-to-end campaign setup and execution, including list segmentation, testing, execution, reporting and optimization
  • Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices as well as Capital One's enterprise standards
  • Consistently test and learn to improve overall campaign performance, including creative optimization, A/B split testing, automated and triggered campaigns
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and their and business impact
  • Report on results and provide insights and recommendations to the marketing team and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing automation, tools, or tech management role

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of experience in B2B marketing
  • 5 or more years of experience managing Marketo
  • 5 or more years of experience working with Salesforce CRM
