This position will work remotely.The Communications Specialist will be the voice of the brand by developing compelling and accurate corporate content while ensuring adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will develop marketing outreach that will be published on multiple media channels and platforms, manage corporate documents and provide overall support on various Creative Team marketing initiatives.Essential functions include but are not limited to:Research, develop and maintain content for all corporate communications, including press releases, marketing collateral, video scripts and speaking engagements.Create and curate content for digital campaigns and assets across various channels, including websites, search (PPC/SEO), display, social media, email and SMS. Make copy and optimization recommendations based on performance analytics and keyword research.Manage and maintain corporate documents through communication audits and implementation of a digital asset management solution.Develop marketing outreach materials, presentations and surveys for targeted distribution channels.Ensure accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines, messaging consistency and regulatory compliance in all work.Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and utilize data to generate content ideas, strategies and editorial calendars.Proofread and edit content.Day-to-day oversight of communication audits and content workflows.Facilitate language translations of content.Contribute creative ideas to various marketing initiatives.Complete other marketing tasks and special projects as needed.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing or a related field.5-7 years of experience in a marketing role with a concentration on content creation.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences (will be expected to provide writing samples).Impeccable grammar, high attention to detail and familiarity with AP Stylebook and brand guidelines (will be required to take an aptitude test prior to hire).Strong research, organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple deadlines, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to collaborate on creative ideas and concepts as well as implement them through content.Proficiency in MS Office required.Proficiency in web content management software, especially Widen, strongly preferred.Dental benefits/insurance industry experience a plus.About Our Organization: With our service area expansion from the Mid-Atlantic region to a national program and our membership increase to over 900,000 members, we've grown to over 200 employees and are looking for talented individuals to join our mission to be the easiest benefits company to work with on your path to wellness.
