In this role, a typical day will include:Full-life Cycle Polygraph Recruiting SupportSources, recruits, screens, interviews, and recommends external and/or internal candidates complying with organization policy and government regulatory guidelinesReviews resumes, advertising responses and employment applications. Interviews and screens applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals, and ability to fit in the organization and function effectivelyCoordinates the conduct of reference checks and evaluates reference data concerning previous employment recordMakes employment recommendations based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications, and resumesActs as internal staff consultant for line and staff management on employment mattersAssists managers in evaluating applicant qualifications and selection of most qualified candidatesGathers, prepares, and analyzes a variety of employment data relating to advertising effectiveness, turnover, minority employment, recruiting campaigns and related items as requiredParticipates in and formulates basic recommendations in the development of short- and long-range manpower and employment objectives considering such factors as corporate growth objectives, manpower availability, employment lead time requirements and the likeDevelops advertising campaigns, determining ad placement, and coordinating advertising schedules in appropriate mediaPlans and conducts college recruiting programsEstablishes and maintains contact with a variety of potential applicant resources including search firms, governmental agencies, college placement centers, trade schools, and related organizationsMay coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.WHAT YOULL NEED:9+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experienceFull Life Cycle and Polygraph Recruiting experienceTechnical Recruiting experienceCOVID-19 Vaccination: GDIT does not have a vaccination mandate applicable to all employees.
