Senior Compensation Analyst (Remote)
Job Description As a Senior Analyst - Compensation you will analyze, design and administer employer compensation programs, including base pay, short-term and long-term incentive pay. You will evaluate jobs, perform market research, determine pay grades, participate in compensation surveys and perform associated analyses. You will also ensure that requests for pay adjustments comply with current compensation policies and practices. We are open to this person working anywhere in the US near one of our branches. Responsibilities Assists in administration of base and variable pay programs, short-term incentive and long-term incentive programs. Performs various market research and analyses to determine market competitiveness of compensation programs. Conducts job evaluations, job leveling, and provide compensation recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation. Functions as business partner with human resources team and management on various compensation projects, including review, development and re-design of existing programs. Manages compensation survey submissions. Assists in administration of company's annual merit increase program. Ensures compensation programs are in compliance with established regulations guidelines, processes, and procedures. Identifies opportunities for and implements process improvement. Qualifications Bachelors Degree 5 years required, 7 years preferred of prior relevant experience, including job evaluation and market pricing. Certified compensation professional (CCP) preferred Merit planning, short-term incentive and sales incentive programs experience preferred. Global compensation experience. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify key themes, trends or issues and draw conclusions. Understanding of job analysis, job evaluation and compensation survey methodology. Strong process management skills. Knowledge of federal, state and local wage and hour regulations. Exposure to designing and implementing pay structures, job evaluation systems, reward and recognition programs. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
