Primary Responsibilities HDR is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to oversee the development of proposals, develop marketing content, and track the pursuit of contracts. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented person to work with industry leaders and grow their skills in marketing and business development. The Marketing Coordinator's primary responsibility will be to respond to client solicitations by organizing and producing proposals, which market HDR's qualification and experience to potential clients. The Marketing Coordinator will work with the project manager and technical staff to develop proposals and other marketing materials including presentations, resumes and brochures. These efforts include research, customizing resumes and project descriptions, developing themes and strategies, reviewing and editing technical write-ups, writing cover letters and content and coordinating the final production to ensure it meets all client requirements. The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for tracking pursuits, preparing marketing reports and representing the company to subcontractors, clients and the public. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, organized and entrepreneurial. Candidates must also be able to work in a fast-paced envireonment, have strong technical and creative writing skills and excel at desktop publishing. This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Transportation Business Group. This group delivers tranportation engineering, planning and economic solutions regionally, nationally and internationally. This position will support state and local transportation engineering, transit, freight railroad and economic pursuits as well as national pursuits for the Economics and Finance practice. The Marketing Coordinator will work as part of a tight-knit core marketing team that covers the DC, Maryland and Virginia markets. #LI-KV1 Qualifications Qualifications * The qualified applicant will preferably have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or similar course of study. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Marketing Coordinator.
