Responsibilities: NCI: As an Asset Management Technician, you will coordinate the administration of the receipt and disposal of physical assets at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the Joint Service Provider (JSP) user community, and you will interact daily with the customer to ensure productivity and provide resolution to property management issues. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.Highlights of Responsibilities:Performs government property administration and accounting duties requiring experience and knowledge in government property administration practicesFollows procedures for receipt and issuance of materials and equipmentPrepares a variety of government-required reports and represents company during auditsValidates content and sufficiency of the data within the asset systemPerforms reconciliation of all inventoriesEvaluates quality of each inventory performed to include overage and shortage discrepanciesAssures resolution of inventory discrepancies while insuring accountability of all government assetsPrepares all reports, including final inventory or periodic status reports for higher authorityUpdates and adjusts policy and procedures based on FAR requirement changesCommunicates and follows company's policies and procedures for asset managementSupports all government property auditsSupports an inventory verification compliance inspection programUtilizes the property asset management applicationPerforms all other position related duties as assigned or requested, while implementing planning/organizing skills and working under deadlines Qualifications: Requirements:US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Secret clearanceBachelor's Degree or four (4) years equivalent related experienceA minimum of two (2) years experienceExperience with DPAS Preferred Physical Requirements:This position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:Sitting for long periodsStanding for long periodsAmbulate throughout an officeAmbulate between several buildingsStoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as requiredRepeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds About NCI: It is the policy of NCI to provide equal opportunity in recruiting, hiring, training, and promoting individuals in all job categories without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected class or category as may be defined by federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
