SUMMARY Arcticom, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking requires a full-time Marketing Assistant for a Department of State project in Washington, DC. The Marketing Team is in the Recruitment Division of the Bureau of Global Talent Management (GTM/TAC/REC) manages advertising strategy and implementation of all aspects of the Department's national recruitment efforts, including but not limited to working with other bureaus such as OBO, IRM, DS, MED, and CA. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. support the Recruitment Division's event promotion and recruitment efforts, including developing marketing graphics and content for events and vacancy announcements * participate in developing ideas, gathering information, designing graphics, drafting and editing content, and managing social media and recruitment platforms * coordinates activities with the Marketing Team * serves as a technical backup for the Department's careers website, cstate.gov. * works closely with the Marketing Team Lead and Marketing Advisor to ensure the daily content management of GTM/TAC/REC's social media platforms, which include Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Twitter * maintains the calendar of national events scheduled for social media platforms, identifying upcoming opportunities for recruiters and deconflicting the scheduling of such events * consults with members of the recruitment team on marketing upcoming events and designing graphics and content to promote such events through different channels-including social media, email, and communications through Yello, the GTM/TAC/REC candidate engagement platform * works closely with the REC Data Analytics unit to track and analyze marketing and outreach effectiveness * Other duties as assigned DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing/Social Media Project Coordination: 50% * Writes and edits social media content for vacancy announcements and events * Writes and edits promotional emails, including HTML formatting * Schedules content using Hootsuite, Yello, and other social media platforms * Works with a variety of GTM/TAC/REC's internal stakeholders and bureau partners to support events and curate content Promotional Material Production: 30% * Designs promotional materials, using applications such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite * Manages graphics and photo libraries in Canva and Box * Assists with visual content and written copy for virtual career fairsand other outreach events Analysis and Reporting: 20% * Assists in tracking analytics to assess related communications/marketing programs, including websites, mobile app, promotional emails, and social recruitment * Incorporates tracking mechanisms into all social media content and provides metrics * Collects information from Google Analytics and UTM codes * Creates reports on varying weekly, monthly, and annual schedules using metrics from various sources.
