Job Description We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an entry-level staff accountant. This is an entry-level position allowing for growth opportunities. We are looking for serious career-minded candidates who want to develop and contribute to a growing organization. Duties and Responsibilities . File multi-state sales tax returns and ensure that all the sales tax accounts are current. . Ensure timely payment of HOA and Condo fees of multiple investment/rental properties. . Finalize cost of the investment and rental properties and issue the report to the management as per the need basis. . Reconcile credit cards, bank accounts and supplier consignment accounts on monthly basis. . Receive and analyze vendor invoices, and verifies the accuracy of price, quantity, and mathematical calculation. . Review and validate all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices to a source document or obtain necessary approvals for payment processing . Responsible for entering transaction data in QuickBooks and maintaining backup documents. . Perform basic finance and accounting analysis. . Strictly ensure that all financial and personnel information is secured and kept strictly confidential. . Perform other duties as assigned by the management. Required skills . Proficient in MS Excel and Quickbooks. . Ability to be highly organized and be able to prioritize work independently to meet deadlines and work assignments/projects with minimal supervision. . Fluently communicates in English both verbally and in writing and operates with strong interpersonal skills. . Ability to practice flexibility and adaptability in the workplace. . Ability to analyze information and use logic and process to address work-related issues and problems. . Detail-oriented. . Average manual dexterity in use of a PC, phone, sorting, filing and other office machines. . Ability to handle conflict appropriately and constructively. . Ability to function under pressure and manage multiple initiatives. . Excellent written and oral communication skills. . Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices . Maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality. . Ability to successfully pass a background check. Education and Experience Preferred . BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field . Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks. . 1year of related experience preferred.
