As a Supervisory Financial Systems Manager, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties:
  • Supervise the operations and maintenance of financial and business systems.
  • Provide qualitative leadership to ensure that business and system processes are streamlined to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Build and maintain cooperative partnerships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring requirements and needs are identified and fully evaluated during the development of technical solutions.
  • Direct the development and implementation of new and/or changes to system requirements resulting from new or modified financial and business system processes, as well as the operations and maintenance of financial and business.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Providing leadership and direction in the performance of the organizations' financial management and business systems;
  • Leading change by conducting research and promoting best practices in financial management systems and efficient financial processes;
  • Monitoring the design, development, maintenance and updating of financial management and business systems to ensure completeness, comprehensiveness, and compatibility with mission requirements, feasibility, and affordability; and
  • Building and maintaining cooperative partnerships with customers and stakeholders, and ensures the requirements and needs are identified and fully evaluated during the development of technical solutions.
