  • Ability to perform of the full range of liaison work to include controlling, analyzing, researching, and formulating official responses to requests from CCMD General, Flag Officers, and staffs.
  • Ability to interpret and develop plans, policy, procedures and processes using methods to evaluate planning effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of DoD military command structure, missions, and programs.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with management and counterparts.
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically; including the ability to translate long-term goals and objectives into short-term operational activities.

For DR-III: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.

Specialized Experience: An example of this experience includes performance of liaison work to include controlling, analyzing, researching, and formulating official responses to requests from military officers and staffs. Planning, drafting, coordinating, and presenting operational and policy documents for military operations. In depth application of engineering and/or scientific analytic modeling methods and approaches to solve complex military challenges.

Other Desired Qualifications (The following will be used to help rate and rank eligible candidates.):
  • Ability to perform of the full range of liaison work to include controlling, analyzing, researching, and formulating official responses to requests from CCMD General, Flag Officers, and staffs.
  • Expert knowledge of the Special Operations Community as well as JWAC's current and developmental analytic modeling methods, models, data sources and approaches.
  • As a recognized technical expert in specified network(s), the incumbent scopes/supports complex, accurate, and technically rigorous model-based analysis of adversary components, nodes, networks and/or systems based on multiple structured and unstructured intelligence datasets to produce targeting solutions in support of joint planning and operational requirements.
  • Ability to communicate at a high level, both orally and in writing, to effectively express information to individuals or groups, make clear and convincing presentations, listen to others, attend to non-verbal cues, and respond accordingly at high levels both internal and external to JWAC.
  • Ability to think broadly and strategically; including the ability to translate long-term goals and objectives into short-term operational activities.
  • Skill in designing, conducting, and leading comprehensive analysis and developing solutions to broad, important, and unique problems.
  • Ability to interpret and develop plans, policy, procedures and processes using methods to evaluate planning effectiveness.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with management and counterparts.
  • Knowledge of DoD military command structure, missions, and programs.
  • Knowledge of trends and developments in the military, political, social, and cultural aspects of near-peer competition and the ability to direct the development of applicable engagement options is strongly desired.
