Role SummaryAs the Content Strategy Spec Sr at VCI you will apply iterative design thinking to content strategically, from service design to digital product creation. You will use customer research skills and employ data to define narratives for our services and products. You will employ your business strategy to outline where, when why and how to articulate core messaging. You will develop mechanisms to create repeatable processes-and you will create an overarching content strategy that delivers an insightful, and useful customer experience.Role Responsibilities Define and manage processes to guide the creation, delivery, and governance of useful, usable content. Communicate findings, recommendations, and content specifications through customer scenarios, presentations, and comps Collaborate with the insights, analytics, CRM, IT, UX design, and research teams. Develop and optimize mechanisms to deliver the right information at the right time to our customers. Define content requirements Review and improve content deliverables Drive the content strategy across multiple channels and outputs-online, offline, social, email and partner with cross-functional teams for the execution. Develop content frameworks, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help internal clients understand the practice of content strategy. Audit existing content and make recommendations for improvement in copy, layout/build, and rich media creation. Collaborate with digital, CRM, sales, technology, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs - then translating them into intuitive and engaging omnichannel experiences. Lead content design activities including client workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms. Build relationships with Privacy, Compliance and Legal groups to manage content updates/changes and ensuring timely submission and approval.Years of Experience 7 - 10 years' experience in a Content Marketing or Marketing Communications role. 2 years' experience leading a content marketing team; agency experience a plusRequired Education Bachelor's DegreeDesired Education Master's DegreeSkills Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus. Advanced knowledge of the content landscape, including but not limited to content design, content creation, content strategy, content marketing, content management, and content operations. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and partners in any situation or context. Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget.
