Shore United Bank is looking for a Branch Manager to join our team. The Branch Manager leads the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team experience, manages risk, and supports growth. As a leader you will coach, motivate, and develop your team of direct reports. Additional responsibilities of this position are as follows:Manage and oversee the daily operations of the branch.Work with management in establishing growth, sales, and profit objectives for the branch.Implement strategies to achieve goals assigned to the branch in the annual operating plan.Ensure the branch is compliant with operating policies, procedures, and outside regulatory requirements. Ensure that the branch is properly staffed and that the staff is trained to meet customer service needs as well as sales objectives.Supervise the branch staff, assist in the selection of new personnel, and review employee performance throughout the year.Provide loan processing for customers based on loan authority; take applications and handle routine inquiries concerning loans, rates, and payment schedules. Actively participate in community and networking events to promote the organization and build relationships within the community. Provide superior customer service through conversation to identify additional customer needs. Make business development calls to prospective new customers and to current customers to enhance their financial wellbeing. Increase new accounts and new loans with new and prospective customers to enhance the customer relationship.Serve as an active member of the office customer service team; answer in-person and telephone inquiries, open new accounts, and assist customers with changes as needed.
