Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, liberal arts or related field.

Experience
  • Five (5) years of reporting, data analysis and modeling with PeopleSoft 9.1 or other HCM or Business Intelligence applications.

Preferred

Experience
  • Five (5) years of HR experience
  • Experience developing insights from data, metrics, and statistical analysis and modeling using advanced tools.

Essential Functions
  • Creates simple to complex report queries in PeopleSoft to respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and testing hypotheses.
  • Ensures reports are comprehensive, accurate, timely, and relevant and reflect the most recent organizational changes. Ensure regularly scheduled dataset deliveries to customers are accurate and timely.
  • Applies statistical findings and communicates effectively with HR stakeholders for HR
  • Recommends measurements for HR Reporting initiatives to determine value and effectiveness. Assists in the development, tracking and analysis of metrics and dashboards in support of period reporting. Analysis may include quantitative and qualitative, transactional / efficiency and human capital metrics.
  • Determines the mix of presentational tools (including dashboards) that will best deploy the information, to include traditional static, dynamic user generated, menu driven, and real time interactive. Confirms accuracy and effectiveness of presentation
  • Consults with customers at all levels and across the business to elicit how new reporting requirements and output are to be leveraged. Ensures the appropriate data is provided within the requested timeframes, escalating when assistance is needed. Gathers functional requirements, maintain documentation, and develops project plans and status reports used for managing Analytics projects. Generates data-driven insights through partnership and collaboration with Human Resource partners and internal and external functional experts.
  • Maintains the Report Catalog and ensures data security and accuracy. Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Control Processes for the creation and documentation of production reports and datasets. Understands the HCM data, assists in updating the data dictionaries as needed. Monitors the integrity of the HCM data through regular audits, troubleshooting irregularities, as well as partnering with the HCM Business Support and HR Shared Services team to research, correct discrepancies, and ensure compliance.
  • Participates in the design and execution of projects related to reporting and data. Contributes effectively on all key phases: needs assessment and prioritization, project sizing, task execution, customer and partner communication, draft iterations, UAT, and finalization/roll out. Keeps the HRIM leadership and customers informed on progress and include them in key decision making where appropriate.
