Incumbents are encouraged to apply!Responsibilities:Design, build, and modify application software using a variety of programming languages such as Java, ColdFusion, JavaScript, and C#. Implement multiple design patterns such as MVC, web services, SOA, and/or microservices.Integrate COTS products, uses APIs, interacts with data repositories, and manages system interfaces. Manage legacy code and/or develop new code using container technologies such as Kubernetes. Develop and execute unit tests to verify code meets functional requirements. Identify applicable secure coding techniques to harden code. Check code in daily. Resolve integration issues, vulnerabilities, and functional defects. Minimize technical debt by applying coding standards and best practices. Work closely with Systems Analysts to build or modify software to meet the business needs of the organization. Develop all code to conform to DEA system security requirementsTechnical Skill set Required:JavaScript Framework (Node, Vue, React, Angular), TypeScript, Java, Microservice, Docker Container, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelineBasic experience Required:Node.JS, Typescript, React.JS, Angular elements, Docker containers, Microservice, GIT commands, API Development, Agile, DevSecOps principles.Preferred qualifications:Node.JS, ReactJS or Angular elements, MEAN stack, Adobe XD/Moqup/Prototype or wireframe experience, Micro-Frontend design and code experience, familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, windows server administration - creating and managing certificates, Docker, Kubernetes image/containers, Webpack NPM, UI design, browser-based debugging and performance testing software, working in DevSecOps, CLI Linux experience.
