Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting is working with a local public accounting firm in the Annapolis and surrounding area to hire a senior tax accountant to their growing team. This firm prides themselves on an excellent culture, flexible hours, and long tenure within the firm. We are looking for a strong tax accountant that brings experience with federal and state tax experience with corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Job Responsibilities: + Prepare tax filings for individuals, businesses, and other entities.+ Manage the accounting, tax, and finance needs for multiple clients, varying in size and complexity.+ Work with a diverse group of businesses, communicating regularly with clients and positioning them for financial success.+ Maintain strong client relationships and be able to develop and build client confidence.+ Regular communication with clients to review their financial and accounting activities.+ Complete and manage various accounting and tax related projects for multiple clients.+ Prepare financial statements in conformity with GAAP.+ Assist and train junior staff.
