Description Robert Half Finance is looking for a Senior Accountant for full-time employment in the Baltimore, Maryland area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of the firm.If interested, please contact Jorge Ventura on LinkedIn: jorge-ventura-cpa-90385945What you get to do every single day- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management- Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives- Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP- Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors Requirements - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)- Month end closings experience desired- Expertise in NetSuite- Deep understanding of cash management- Foundational knowledge in manufacturing- Great attention to detail- Self-starter and strong ethical standards- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Able to manage time well- Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience- Efficient in ERP systems- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlinesRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
