Direct Sales Manager
Kelly Services has partnered with a well-known company in Landover MD to recruit for a Full time, Permanent Direct Sales Manager.Monday-Friday9am-5pm$90,000-$100,000/year plus Bonus based on ExperienceFull Benefit packageThis will be a blended scheduled of working from home, the office, and out in the field**Position Summary**The primary responsibilities include developing sales through relationship building, strong sales skills and providing positive leadership and training for sales representatives. The Sales Manager will work with the Vice President of Sales to drive the company's sales strategy.**Essential Functions**1. Oversee a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve company sales and gross profit growth goals by growing existing accounts, adding new accounts, and maximizing profitability.2. Facilitate new processes, tools, communication, and training to ensure sales successes across teams and departments throughout the company.3. Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.4. Manage, motivate, and develop sales personnel including hiring, training, conducting evaluations, discipline, goal setting and career and personal development.5. Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts and by assisting sales reps in the field6. All other duties as assigned.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**1. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.2. Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.3. Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.4. Direct outside sales experience with emphasis on major accounts and knowledge of the local area.**Education and Experience**1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Marketing or equivalent experience.2. 3-5 years outside sales experience preferred.3.
