By joining our team, you will play a key role in helping to our clients uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data and transforming the Government and Public Services marketplace.Work you'll doThe Analytics & Cognitive Specialist Leader will provide strategic support, direction, and oversight, and drive the complete integration of AI and Advanced Analytics Operations. They will be responsible for collaborating with executive level clients and stakeholders on business needs, creating strategic and business process deliverable including business process assessments, strategic plans, visioning sessions etc., and leading and driving client sessions and meetings.Additional duties:Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of othersParticipate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contractAnticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issuesReview deliverables for accuracy and qualityProvides coaching to junior staffContribute to new business proposals and proposal developmentManages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiencesTravel up to 10% (While 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)Current federal guidance requires that GPS professionals must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021, unless legally entitled to an accommodation.The teamDeloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureActive Government security clearance, or the ability to obtain15+ years of relevant professional experience10+ years of AI and Data Analytics Architecture experience8+ years of experience with analytics and data architecture strategy2+ years experience with ETL, NoSQL Apache Hadoop, and cloud computing technology, especially Microsoft AzurePreferred:Prior professional services or federal consulting experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work with both technical and functional resourcesAdvanced Excel, VBA, and/or MicroStrategy experienceHow you'll growAt Deloitte, our professional development plan focuses on helping people at every level of their career to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
