Sr. Analytical Consultant with Security Clearance

The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) is a public health preparedness and emergency response organization in the Office of the Secretary at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. ASPR was created under the Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Act in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to lead the nation in preventing, preparing for, and responding to the adverse health effects of public health emergencies and disasters. The wide scope of ASPR's mission requires professional staffing services across program and functional mission areas to include: Chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear Threat Response, Advanced Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Modeling, Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Management/Response, Logistics Management, Acquisitions/Contracts Management, Policy and Planning, Financial Management Planning and Analysis, Operations and Administrative Management (Travel/IT/Facilities/etc.), Strategic Staffing & Employee Development, Ethics, Public Health Communications and Strategic Stakeholder Engagement. This position requires an eligibility for security clearance. You must be a US citizen. Responsibilities * Provide advanced analytical support to BARDA's Division of Research, Innovation andVentures (DRIVe).* Provide experience working with and establishing new office support procedures, policies, andprotocols.* Have an interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and innovative environment.* Be motivated, self-starter who thrives in a rapidly evolving newly created team* Require experience to include a Graduate degree in a relevant field (life sciences,engineering, MIS, etc.); 10+ years experience.* Require excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Be adept in utilizing office equipment and software.Specific tasks associated with Sr. Analytical Consultant experience support include but are not limited to: * Provide direct support to Government personnel with focus on DRIVe Division Director andstaff.* Provide support for both administrative and support services.* Coordinate activities across DRIVe team, contractor personnel, and other staff.* Review documents for DRIVe team.* Manage schedules, answer phones, make appointments, reserve meeting space, and ensureprinted materials are available as needed.* Conduct action items for Government personnel.* Facilitate issue resolution for day-to-day operations of team(s) as needed. Qualifications * 8+ years experience * Bachelors Degree in relevant field (emergency management, public safety, management) - Masters Preferred * Experience supporting Emergency Management programs, * Extensive knowledge of the HHS Incident Response Framework, Incident Command Structure * Advanced knowledge of Government budget management policies and procedures. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Excel. * Advanced proficiency with all MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat. * This position requires an eligibility for security clearance.
