IP Sales Officer Manager- Commercial IP

The Integrated Payables team is a team with entrepreneurial spirit. We are dedicated to changing banking for business owners, and helping them get the most out of their business payments. Our newly launching, innovative IP solutions will change the way businesses make payments, for good. The IP Sales team must deeply understand the needs of our business clients, ultimately, delivering a consultative sales approach that thoughtfully provides solutions to new and existing Capital One customers.

What You'll Do
As an Integrated Payments Sales Officer, you will be helping businesses to optimize their Payments, to earn maximum rewards, and to grow the Capital One IP brand in an industry changing way. You will serve as a dedicated point of contact for IP Business Prospects assisting them in utilizing our team of AP specialists to meet their current and future business needs. The ideal candidate will:

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop portfolio growth strategies for achieving targets
Acquiring new relationships and growing existing relationships
Secure 1st time phone appointments directly with clients & prospects (cold calling)
Engage in phone consultations with existing small business customers, owners and decision makers, learn about their needs, and recommend next steps to achieve rewards goals
Effectively manage pipeline of clients & prospects
Analyze the small business's total business spend to identify additional opportunities to leverage our card solutions
Assist the business with incorporating the IP solutions, and other products into their purchasing platform and bookkeeping software and execute spend conversion plan
Teach customer that their IP solution can be the primary vehicle in their buying cycle, incorporating the Spark card into their purchasing platforms and bookkeeping software
Reinforce the value proposition of the IP solutions
Follow up on business referrals from existing client base
Achieve incremental charge volume targets
Compliant in all client activities and follow up through use of Salesforce.com

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience growing existing business relationships in an inside sales environment

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years experience growing existing business relationships and acquiring new customers in an inside or outside sales environment
At least 5 years of experience in an inside or outside sales environment
At least 5 years of experience meeting a sales metric or sales goal
At least 1 year of experience working with Businesses Customers
At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry
Strong computer skills, and ability to multitask and navigate web-based tools
Proficiency using Salesforce.com
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficiency using Google Suite
