Human Resources Assistant The George Mason University Human Resources and Payroll Office is seeking a part-time Human Resources Assistant. Responsibilities: This position is a vital member of the Human Resources Services team and will be responsible for a wide variety of human resources functions. Responsibilities include:Data entry;Data analysis;Answering customer inquiries; andEmployment transactions and records management to support employment, recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance.Required Qualifications:Desire to work in a team environment where priorities change rapidly;Must have superior communication and customer service skills, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills;Ability to prioritize work and willingness to be flexible;Ability to multitask;Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and/or automated processing and data entry; andExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel, e-mail, and navigation of the Internet and web applications.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree);Experience with Ellucian Banner and Microsoft Access; andHuman Resources experience.
