SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Senior Software Engineer ENSCO Rail, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Springfield, VA to architect, design, and deliver high performance technical solutions for ENSCO's key software products. Lead transition and maintenance of legacy software products from QNX OS to Windows, package and install ENSCO's proprietary software suites on customer's transit systems, and plan schedules for projects and manage execution of standard product designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of progressively responsible experience with QNX, Linux, Windows operating systems; development environments like Eclipse, Visual Studio 10/13/15; database design with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle; network and inter-process communication, multithreading, and ant script programming. 3 years of experience developing user-interfaces using C++ Qt Framework for real-time data processing and display; training, mentoring, instructing, and supervising junior software engineers. 2 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies and SCRUM framework.
