QinetiQ is seeking an experieced Finance profession to lead our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The FP&A function and will spear-head the Companys monthly financial reporting, forecasts, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. S/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, investment analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The selected individual must be able to work in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment and will be counted on to provide proactive, strategic input as part of the senior leadership team. This position will be routinely engaged in discussions with senior functional leaders across the business unit and the company. Your Contribution to the Mission: Lead and evolve the core FP&A processes including monthly and quarterly forecasting; variance reporting and analysis; annual budget planning; quarterly business reviews and Board reporting Develop corporate financial reporting and commentary that provides senior leaders with timely insights into trends, operational results and business drivers Partner with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Sales, Program Management, Operations, Finance and IT to create automated, scalable processes and best in class reporting capabilities Design and implement automated reporting solutions and updates; work closely with the finance teams and business stakeholders to understand business drivers and continue to develop solutions to address issues Create and analyze financial reports, business KPIs, dashboards, and data models to support reporting and forecasting processes Provide strategic business partnership to all functions, develop understanding of program strategies & prioritization to support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning assumptions Serve as business partner and liaison to Executive team to help drive effective business decisions, sound financial strategies and alignment to achieving company objectives Work with Corporate Controller and other business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls Offer solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity Support ad-hoc finance projects and analysis To Land This Job, You'll Need: BS in Accounting or Finance Strong leadership and business acumen 7+ years of Corporate FP&A experience Experience in government contracting and solid knowledge of government Cost Accounting Standards Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in Defense and Aerospace Industry Strong background in operational finance and controls with a leadership role in reporting financial results Demonstrated experience creating strategic financial projections and high-level actionable analysis Strategic thinker who has ability to create, influence and execute cross-functionally to achieve results Ability to partner and influence at all levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Expert financial modeling skills COVID-19 Vaccination Policy: In accordance with the Executive Order on Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, all QinetiQ Inc. employees, including employees working from home/remotely, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an exemption is approved by QinetiQ Inc.
