Senior Manager, Software Engineering, Cyber (Remote Eligible)

The Cyber Engineering Crypto Team uses technology to protect data across the entire enterprise. Our Cyber organization is a mature, purpose driven group that's growing rapidly and looking for strong engineering talent. In this role, you would lead a team of software and cyber technicians and help us deliver innovative features to our AWS cloud and enterprise partners. We're a group of passionate engineers working closely to solve real world crypto problems across our stack, including Node, React, PostgreSQL, Python and Lambda all running on top of AWS. Within the Crypto space, we have opportunities across our teams for hands-on engineering leaders to take ownership of some of our systems and data processes that power our customer experiences across our product offerings while managing the work of other engineers. These areas deliver an incredible amount of value to our customers and generate a strong sense of ownership for our program and as such, the potential for growth and leadership within this space present a unique opportunity.

What you'll do:
  • People leader of software engineers and managers to maintain a portfolio of diverse cryptography projects to exhibit solutions that meet Cyber's regulatory needs
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community
  • Collaborate with leadership to deliver on high level initiatives and make key decisions on our strategy and roadmaps.
  • Engage with other senior product managers across teams (encrypted payments, mobile, message encryption, and cloud security) to deliver comprehensive solutions with cryptography security features


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
  • At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud)
  • At least 4 years of people management experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Master's Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in secrets management, data encryption, key management, PKI and tokenization
  • 8+ years of experience with scripting/programming language frameworks such as python, java, REST APIs, Go, Terraform or Ansible
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
