Job Summary/Company: Our client, a regional transportation company, is searching for a Project Coordinator to join its team. This person will support the Labor and Employee Relations department with increasing capacity to respond to requests by performing data analysis, completing projects, generating reports, and assisting with ad hoc administrative functions. Qualified candidates will bring experience utilizing spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and running queries within databases.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with various project tasks, designs spreadsheets, assists and maintains grievance and arbitration databases, liaisons with departmental administration on Labor and Employee Relations activities and updating other databases, assists with special projects, generates regular status reports, and other assistance with projects as determined by Labor and Employee Relations Management.
  • Assists with the planning, execution, and commencing of assigned projects by the required deadline.
  • Responsible for assisting with the planning, implementing and completing multi-discipline administrative activities related to managing Labor and Employee Relations projects to include planning, report preparation, data analysis, records management, and other duties as assigned.
  • Analyzes reports for accuracy and integrity, assists with reporting and data metrics for Labor and Employee Relations dashboards, and creating action items and ensuring adherence to established Labor and Employee Relations and Authority procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with all internal and external clients through timely communications and a response within 24 hours.
  • Maintains organizational confidentiality of all Labor and Employee Relations matters.
  • Provides administrative and project support to Vice President, Chief Labor and Employee Relations Officer; Director, Labor and Employee Relations; and Project Manager, Labor and Employee Relations.
  • Helps to develop and implement administrative and clerical procedures to ensure goals are met, drafts routine correspondence, prepares and edits department and executive controlled correspondence, and performs administrative support for the department, as needed.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an associate project coordinator providing project and administrative support to a Vice President and executive management, with a focus on data analysis and database management.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an associate project coordinator providing project and administrative support to a Vice President and executive management in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on data analysis and database management.
