Senior Associate, Salesforce Solution Administrator

The Commercial Bank has invested in the Salesforce.com platform as our primary associate interface to transform how we get work done and how we drive a phenomenal client experience in the Commercial Bank. We are leveraging Salesforce for its platform capabilities while integrating with our home grown applications. This is an exciting time at Capital One to learn and use cutting edge cloud technologies while delivering an integrated experience through the Salesforce.com user interface.

We are looking for new teammates that will bring a balance of business analysis, product management, and technical delivery to drive critical business outcomes in an agile and iterative environment. This role allows our associates to simultaneously network across the business and technology teams to understand how the bank works as well as develop scalable salesforce architecture solutions. This unique combination positions our team members to be highly qualified for leadership roles within the organization as pod leads, architecture oversight, or even product managers.



About you...
  • Past success as a Salesforce Administrator, Solution Architect, or Developer with meaningful Salesforce experience on large implementations
  • Someone eager to learn new and varied technologies and business processes on the job as well as continually improve existing skill sets
  • Thrive on building and delivering "Customer first" capabilities with a focus on iteration, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Highly functional in a dynamic, challenging environment in a cross-functional, matrixed management agile team.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration
  • Excellent communicating, problem solving, and documenting solutions with a history of hands-on, detailed project completion
  • May have experience with APEX and JAVA development experience



Responsibilities:
  • With guidance, design, develop, test, document and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs.
  • User set-ups, profiles, permissions, roles, creating/configuring custom, objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, report and dashboard development, approval processes
  • Salesforce declarative development: Process Builder and Flow Builder
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other API integrations
  • Ownership of well managed delivery and automated testing package
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Develop trusted relationships with both business Product Owners and technology teammates to optimize our product
  • Contribute to a collaborative, Agile environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation and learning; promotes continuous improvement
  • Seek to continuously grow by proactively seeking and embracing constructive feedback while also providing the same level of feedback to colleagues in Capital One's open and collaborative culture
  • Successfully collaborate with multiple technical functions in the areas of infrastructure, technical operations, software engineering and customer support


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • At least 1 year of Agile experience



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Military experience
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • At least 1 year of Salesforce Administration experience
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing Salesforce APIs or App Exchange solutions
  • At least 1 year of experience applying design thinking and human-centered design principles to product development
  • Prior experience in the banking industry
