Marketing Communications Coordinator – HYBRID ROLE

 

Certified Laboratories celebrated its 90th year in 2016 as a full service, quality laboratory conducting testing services for the food industry. We offer the most extensive range of services available coast-to-coast to the cosmetic, personal care, OTC, supplements, agriculture, dairy, juice, meat, pharmaceutical, refrigerated, seafood and spice industries.

 

We are looking for an accomplished, innovative Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our growing team in this home/office hybrid position!! This key role will be responsible for branding, direct marketing programs, and various corporate communications. In addition, you will:

 

  • Lead the development and execution of communications and digital marketing initiatives including research and content development. Work in conjunction with all companies under the Certified Group to ensure relevant cross-promotion across all channels. Manage digital marketing outreach including website management and improvements, SEO, monthly newsletters, regulatory updates, and digital media/email campaigns through HubSpot. Track and monitor effectiveness of all marketing communications pieces. Develop communications calendar for distribution of marketing using HubSpot. Onboard consultants for business development opportunities and main point of contact for all consultants. Coordinate the publication of articles in industry and member journals. Update existing marketing and communication materials, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach internal and external audiences. Ensure internal marketing and communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization. Act as a conduit between internal staff, trainers and registered seminar and webinar participants. Coordinate training opportunities, both public, in-house and through channels such as membership organizations and conferences. Develop proactive outreach and relationships with event planners and key contacts at trade organizations.

We require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, and/or in a relevant field. Minimum three years of experience in Advertising, Communications, and/or Marketing. Knowledge and understanding of best practices in advertising, marketing, communications, content creation, SEO and branding. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively. Strong attention to detail. Motivated, eager, adaptable Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is required. Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and HubSpot required). FDA regulation knowledge preferred.
