Job summary:
Westat is seeking a qualified individual to work with a multidisciplinary research team on a variety of data-oriented health services research projects for federal government clients. Westat's health services research and policy portfolio is focused on innovative health care delivery, alternative Medicare and Medicaid payment, quality of care and quality measurement, health information technology and exchange, patient experience and patient safety.  This position is full time and is for a flexible telework arrangement. 
Job responsibilities:
•    Supporting data collection, data submission, and data intake. 
•    Conducting quality control checks on data and reports.
•    Performing data management and manipulation using MS Excel spreadsheets. 
•    Producing infographics and other data visualization products to effectively present data/results. 
•    Providing technical assistance through phone calls and e-mail communications and producing reports on technical assistance provided.
•    Supporting content updates for websites. 
•    Developing agendas and supporting internal and external meetings, webinars, and large conference calls involving clients, experts and stakeholders.
•    Writing meeting or call notes and managing follow through of action items. 
•    Assisting in project-related public communications activities. 

Basic qualifications: 
•    A bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health or a related field. 

Preferred qualifications:
•    Research project experience in a health-related area.

Minimum Qualifications: 
•    Experience and skill working with data and MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills
