Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics Analyst for our Reimbursement Department and our Strategic Analytics Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Senior Reimbursement and Strategic Analytics Analyst you will:
• Will be assigned to the Reimbursement Department, even though approximately 50% of this FTE will also support AHC's Strategic Analytics Department.
• Because this role will be responsible for working with two different stakeholder groups
• it is essential that he/she be able to: (1) work collaboratively with others,
(2) assess and manage task priority, and (3) maintain a level of engagement with two separate departments in terms of overall strategy and common working practices.
Reimbursement
• Monitor charge compliance for assigned entities and propose price adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and/or AHC strategy.
• Prepare a monthly revenue package for assigned entities that provides insight into charge compliance, volume/revenue trends, and material variances to budget assumptions.
• Monitor and keep track of reporting requirements and related deadlines to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Complete (or contribute to the completion) of such reports.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests for information with timely and insightful knowledge of operations and reimbursement-related activities. •Assume primary responsibility for the preparation of analyses that are requested by our customers (i.e., CFOs) and other departments that may rely on our knowledge and expertise.
Strategic Analytics
• Provide analytical support to Director around service line profitability reporting, operational reporting, and scenario analytics
• Maintain and update financial and operational models for department leadership to use to present to senior leaders to evaluate key business decisions around the growth, resizing, acquisitions, joint ventures, or divestitures.
• Under the direction of the Director, work with leaders throughout the organization to ensure assumptions and modeling accurately reflect the business decision being contemplated
• Be knowledgeable and proficient in business data sources and business rules and work collaboratively with the Business Intelligence department to build out and define data necessary for various assigned analysis
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or relevant healthcare-related field.
• 3 - 5 years in healthcare reimbursement field.
• CPA or CHFP considered a "plus"
