Change Management Lead, Workplace Solutions

This position provides change management leadership for core projects by assessing impact of change to associates, planning, documenting changes, and creating and implementing change management strategies that maximize associate adoption and usage in a highly collaborative working environment. The Change Management Manager works to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact associates in the organization to increase value creation. Additionally, this role will require collaborating across teams, within and beyond WPS, to align and deliver on the change management strategies and enable transformation.

As a Manager at Capital One, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. What you'll do:
  • Lead change management activities for projects and programs of all sizes at the organizational level
  • Demonstrate excellent change management, bringing the ability to quickly put change management structure in place to manage change in a dynamic complex environment
  • Gather end user impacts and create change and training plans
  • Identify, develop and execute evaluation criteria to assess the impact
  • Conduct, evaluate and present impact assessments, gap, and people change readiness
  • Demonstrate excellent change management skills and ability to manage work, scope, priorities and risks
  • Apply various change management methodologies
  • Work in ambiguity and quickly adapt to changing priorities and project direction
  • Partner with and provide tactical support to stakeholder leads and teams to define, tailor, and implement change management strategies, plans and messaging via the most appropriate channels
  • Lead meetings to demo system changes and drive stakeholder awareness and promote an environment to obtain feedback
  • Identify and analyze risk mitigation tactics, problem solve, and integrate solutions into the change management plan, where appropriate
  • Understand key priorities and complex issues quickly for the larger organization and create clear and impactful presentations
  • Display excellent influencing, communication, and partnership skills, which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
  • Implement mechanisms to support and coach people through change transition and adoption phase to maximize buy-in, reduce risk and resistance
  • Create and measure success metrics and monitor change progress


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 Years of Project Management experience
  • At least 5 Years of Change Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Change Management
  • At least 10 years of Project Management experience
  • At least 10 years experience developing Change Management metrics
