Transfer Pathway AnalystThe George Mason University, Office of Academic Affairs is seeking a Transfer Pathway Analyst. George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.About the Position:Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and working closely with the Coordinator for Transfer Pathways and Prior Learning, the Transfer Pathway Analyst will assist with the coordination and maintenance of academic pathways from Community Colleges to Mason's degree programs.Assist with the development and maintenance of academic pathway documents, including those developed for ADVANCE and state level transfer coordination initiatives;Collaborate with Mason faculty and staff to support TransferVA Common Curriculum and course development efforts;Document and track course equivalency updates affecting pathway programs; andEngage in pathway development events such as academic summits, charrettes, and other related state activity.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience;Demonstrated experience in a college or university advising office;Demonstrated communication skills;Ability to work with diverse university and community college constituents;Demonstrated attention to detail;Advanced analytical, planning, writing, and organization skills; andDemonstrated understanding of university academic policies.
