Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Director of Facilities who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

The Director of Facilities is the ideal position for someone with hospital facilities leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a new hospital facility and campus.

As the Director of Facilities, you will:

• Provide leadership and oversight for the planning, organizing, and directing of
the hospital's facilities, plant operations services and grounds. This oversight
includes assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of policies
and practices that ensure a safe environment of care.
• Ensures fiscal and organizational management of the department.
• Develop key relationships within and outside the hospital that support and
promote the upkeep and maintenance of the hospital and its campus.
• Established priorities for direct supervisors with respect to the provision and
delivery of departmental services.
• Develops a preventive maintenance program to meet the objectives of the
• Establishes and monitors the maintenance of record-keeping systems to
document departmental activity and to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor effectiveness of management practices and productivity

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or similar degree with 10 years of
related experience required
• 5 years of experience in facilities management in an acute-care hospital
setting with 3 years of supervisory experience required
• Construction project management experience required
• Considerable knowledge of JCAHO standards, OSHA, state and local codes
normally associated with hospitals - preferred
• Valid specialty certification to perform in clinical areas as needed
