George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.About the Position:Reporting to the Senior Partnership Manager this position's purpose is to serve as Partnership Manager (PM) of open-enrollment and contract offerings provided through CPE, which may be developed either by third-party providers or by Mason academic units. This position has supervisory duties and operates with a great deal of autonomy and business ownership. PMs operate as the CPE owner of our partner relationships.The Partnership Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining CPE partner contracts both fulfilling CPE's commitments as well as holding our partners accountable for meeting their commitments for open enrollment and contract course programs. In addition to monitoring, reporting and driving enrollments for our open enrollment courses, the PM works with CPE Marketing and Finance to manage registration, marketing campaigns, contract administration and fiscal services. PMs work with CPE partners on schedules, marketing, instructor contracts and financial account management. As the budget manager for the partnership contracts, the PM helps establish pricing with the third party, as well as the CPE executive team and university entities. PMs serve as the "face" of CPE to the student and instructor and will manage and are accountable for all of services provision around OE and contract course delivery.Responsibilities:Responsible for establishing, updating, and managing terms of agreements with vendors/partners (e.g., third-party course providers or space contracts) and academic units:Monitors contract performance expectations, ensures contract terms are correctly adhered to and up to date;Ensures schedules are in place and up to date for the full year in coordination with CPE marketing and finance and creates associated course codes in the Mason Student Information System;Creates marketing plan and budget in coordination with CPE Marketing and Finance;Drives enrollment performance by coordinating with CPE Marketing, third-party partners and other CPE functions;Provides enrollment projections to the Fiscal Team on a monthly basis (specified by the finance team) for all programs within portfolio drawing on Destiny and related reports; andCollaborates with Fiscal Team in providing data for partner revenue-share calculations (e.g., student registration data) and reviewing final payment calculation for accuracy and completeness.Provides operational management, support and/or oversight for assigned open enrollment departmental programs and contract courses:Plans, manages and oversees all aspects of program operations including registration, classroom scheduling, payments, faculty scheduling and contracts, facilities, equipment, materials, books, catering, preparing of certifications and program evaluations;Establishes and communicates clear policies around last day of enrollment, cancellation, withdrawal, and transfer for programs (in coordination with CPE policies);Recommend processes and procedures to promote continuous improvement and increase team efficiency; andAttends events to promote courses and programs.Supervises Partnership Coordinators, Partnership Assistants and evaluates operational aspects that are executed as part of partnership management.Required Qualifications:Exemplary communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) and customer services skills;Excellent time management and organization/multi-tasking skills;Advanced use of computer applications (Microsoft Office suite) and student enrollment software;Ability to create and supervise third party contracts (typically that involve revenue sharing agreements);Ability to work independently, set goals and work well in a team environment;Significant administrative experience with third party vendors/businesses including fiscal management and problem resolution;Experience in supervising;Experience with marketing and recruitment;Significant experience with managing customer experience (both learner and partners) and being responsive to varying customer needs; andBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:The following education and/or skill sets are preferred:Experience in higher education with a strong knowledge of the course lifecycle, fiscal processes, and student service support;Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Banner and Destiny Solutions; andExperience in higher education.
